New Essay -- China as a Rising Norm Entrepreneur: Examining GDI, GSI and GCI

I hope this finds you well. My apologies for going MIA through the past week. It’s been a hectic week with a fair amount of travel. The newsletter will, however, be back on track starting tomorrow.

In the meantime, I am excited to share the publication of my new essay/book on the normative implications of China’s three global initiatives - GDI, GSI and GCI. The essay offers:

• my detailed assessment of the worldview of the Chinese leadership

• an overview of the actual implementation of the three initiatives

• a thorough discussion on the potential normative impact of these initiatives

The essay/book is being published by the Singapore-based ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute, with whom I’ve had the privilege of being affiliated for a short-term visiting fellowship.
